Senior Vice President of Managed Care

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following:
-
Defines and implements corporate strategies to increase revenue
and develops plans utilizing available resources to effectively
penetrate the Managed Care market.

Establishes guidelines for and negotiates contracts with payor
customers for companies products and services to ensure and
achieve revenue growth, product implementation, and identify
scope of service expansion. Manages contract administration and
pricing of companies products, projects and services.

Develops and maintains relationship with national key accounts
and strategically targets accounts to increase market share and
enhance business revenues..

Facilitates and communicates with sales, operations, clinical,
and administrative staff to achieve common company goals and
objectives.

Participates in the development/production of payor proposals,
contracts and other related correspondence leading to enhanced
business revenue.

Generate >=$140 million book of business.
EDUCATION
·
Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent in healthcare, business, or a related field with MBA
preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
·
15 plus years in
strategic commercial executive account sales, service, and/or
provider network development experience in a managed care
environment.

At least 10 years experience in complex management issues
including leadership, business and program development,
physician relations, manage care contracting and reimbursement
and operations/financial management and product trends.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the
ability to obtain and foster positive relationships with key
accounts.

Excellent organizational and strategic planning skills.

Excellent coaching and team building skills.
SALARY
Base between $150k and $195k, depending on experience
End of Year bonus
Car Allowance, minimum of $650.00 a month
3 Weeks Vacation
